Study Skills and Coping with Anxiety (Canvas classes for students)

The counseling staff have created two different courses on Canvas for students to use as needed:

  1. Study Skills- Teaches students about basic skills in learning styles, time management and organization, note taking, reading, memory, and test taking skills.
  2. Coping with Anxiety- Shows students some basic techniques to use when faced with anxiety. These include breathing exercises, visualization, and mediation.

Students interested in taking the course can turn in the attached form to their counselors office. Once a student is enrolled it will appear in their Canvas course list and parents will be able to also view the curriculum. We highly recommend that parents go through the modules with their students.
